Con Almeida siguen los PPelotazos

De CS Ingobernable a una Fundación encabezada por Alberto Ruiz Gallardón.

El edificio de calle Gobernador 39 fue abierto y recuperado por las vecinas de Madrid el 6 de mayo de 2017 tras llevar años cerrado y olvidado.. Después de dos años de actividades gratuitas, miles de personas y ser la casa de los movimientos sociales de la ciudad de Madrid, en noviembre de 2019 el actual Gobierno del Partido Popular con el apoyo de Ciudadanos y Vox decidió desalojar este espacio para cederlo, como conocimos ayer, a la Fundación Hispano-judía cuyo vicepresidente es Alberto Ruiz-Gallardón, por los próximos 50 años. No es la primera vez que un Gobierno del Partido Popular disfraza un pelotazo urbanístico con argumentos en “pro de la cultura”. El CS Ingobernable no se cansó de denunciar cómo en su último pleno la antigua alcaldesa del PP de Madrid, Ana Botella, cedió este edificio público por un euro a 75 años a la Fundación Ambasz para la creación de un Museo de arquitectura. Gracias al CS Ingobernable y a la presión social se destapó el desfalco y Gobernador 39 volvió a ser de la ciudad.

La relación entre este edificio de propiedad pública y Gallardón viene de lejos. En 2008, siendo Gallardón alcalde de Madrid, cedió el inmueble gratis a Caja Madrid. La caja (presidida por Miguel Blesa) quería poner en pie un museo y justificar así la compra que había hecho a J. L. Rueda de su colección de arte a instancias de José María Aznar (más información en los denominados Correos de Blesa). No se puso ninguna traba a la operación, tampoco por parte de Patrimonio Histórico de la Comunidad de Madrid, cuyo director general era nada menos que José Luis Martínez Almeida. Al final, la crisis económica hizo inviable el proyecto para Caja Madrid y la apertura del museo se paralizó.

El que fuera Presidente de la Comunidad de Madrid (1995), Alcalde de Madrid (2007-2011) y Ministro de Justicia (2011), es decir, Gallardón, vuelve a la carga acumulando títulos mientras se aclara su imputación en el caso Lezo.

Pero es que aparte del exministro Gallardón, el patronato de la Fundación Hispanojudía, el organismo encargado de gestionar ese museo, tiene algún que otro nombre conocido. David Hatchwell, Presidente del Consejo de Administración de Excem o Javier Cremades, Presidente en Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo, forman parte también de su directiva.

David Hatchwell solía trabajar para Goldman Sachs, actores responsables de la crisis de 2008, y preside ahora Excem, una cementera con tres SOCIMIs especializadas en alojamientos turísticos (es decir, fondos buitres que gestionan alquileres). Por su parte, Javier Cremades fue promotor junto a altos cargos del PP como Javier Moragas o Moreno Bonilla del polémico Malaga Valley, una fallida emulación de Silicon Valley criticada por su opacidad y su despilfarro sistemático de fondos públicos. Hatchwell es además cofundador de ACOM, una agencia de comunicación dedicada a perseguir a quienes denuncian la política de apartheid del estado de Israel y la vulneración de los derechos humanos en Palestina.

Por si fuera poco, el nuevo plan contempla la destrucción de un edificio histórico que data de 1925, por lo que, además, se perderá, una vez más, parte del patrimonio histórico de la ciudad de Madrid. Además, cabe señalar que este proyecto tiene poco que ver con la conservación de la cultura judía, que desde 2006 cuenta con el Centro Sefardí-Israel, instalado en un edificio cedido en el centro de Madrid, y que ya recibe apoyo de las tres instituciones del estado: gobierno central, comunidad y ayuntamiento. En contraste, la Fundación Hispano-Judía es de reciente creación, carece de trayectoria cultural, y su único interés parece ser la gestión de grandes proyectos urbanísticos. Una vez más, la motivación del Partido Popular sigue siendo la misma, el enriquecimiento de sus amigos a costa de la ciudad de Madrid. La excusa, como siempre, es lo de menos.

Tras los más de dos años de actividad Ingobernable, el Partido Popular ha llegado al ayuntamiento criminalizando a los movimientos sociales y cerrando espacios que, como la Ingobernable, estaban siendo utilizados y gestionados por las vecinas. Han vertido, además, falsas acusaciones de cesiones a dedo, como la que han lanzado recientemente contra el Espacio Vecinal de Arganzuela (EVA). Sin embargo, ahora es el Partido Popular quien, en un giro previsible de los acontecimientos, cede a dedo y sin concurso público este edificio a una Fundación afín al partido y a sus intereses.

Las promesas de Martínez Almeida de “recuperar” el edificio de Gobernador 39 para crear dotaciones para el barrio, como una biblioteca o el tan necesitado centro de salud, se desvanecen ahora con este pelotazo, a golpe de turistificación y amiguismo. Para recuperar así su plan original, construir un nuevo museo en el Paseo del Prado, desoyendo las reclamaciones de las vecinas del distrito centro, donde la presión de la turistificación está convirtiendo la ciudad de Madrid en un parque temático en el que no se puede vivir.

Por eso os convocamos hoy a las 19:00 en las puertas de nuestra Ingobernable, para señalar una operación más de dedazo, desfalco, turistificación del Partido Popular y sus colegas de Ciudadanos y Vox. Nunca vamos a rendirnos, porque ellos son la vida invivible, y nosotras la vida que merece la pena ser vivida. Nos quieren solas, pero nos tendrán en común.
